(Phom Penh) Like the key message on our billboard, we made known to the Cambodian construction sector that Aver Asia in now Cambodia!

We made a tall impression to visitors of the Cambodia Construction Expo, 30 Nov – 2 Dec 2017. In particular, those who took a “ride: on any of our MEWPs. For those brave enough to take the challenge, we gave them an Aver Asia umbrella as takeaway.

Phom Penh, Cambodia will be the last stop of our overseas expansion for year 2017. The Capital is famous for pepper, spice and exotic dishes. More notably, there will be many major developmental projects with airport, retail malls, luxury residential and infrastructure in the next 5 years.

Wherever we go, we like to make it better

-Training the Youths Around the World-

Ever since Aver Asia signed a memorandum with Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to setup training facility in ITE College West in 2016, we have continued to collaborate closely with the technical institution on internships.

In Singapore, we welcomed ITE interns into our workshop and office. Across overseas offices, we have started our recruitment drive to build a young and energetic workshop team.

We perform on the-job-training to empower young people from different countries and backgrounds to realize their dreams and improve their lives. One does not become a mechanic within a week – it takes training, hands-on and discipline. In short, it takes years to build up the experience. There is no question that we will, one day, have the finest mechanics in the industry. Is our passion to pass on the good trade.

The “A” Tower

In the coming days, you will be seeing more of “it”.

The success of Aver Asia today relied on an A-Team comprising
Sales, Operations, Workshop, Finance, Admin, Invoicing and Store.
Everyone plays a different role, but everyone is equally valued.

As we widen our influence into the region, it makes it even more
crucial for us to have an identity. One, of our very own.

The tower of equipment will be symbolic to Aver Asia. There will be
no more scattered products. Just one. It will creates the distinction
between us and our competitors, in Singapore or regionally.

We do carry many brands, and may probably build new relationships
with new partners in the future. But what will not change is we are
always the best equipment partner to our customers, manufacturers
and suppliers.

It is also a tower of strength. It personified our competencies and standards; while clearly demonstrated that we know our business.  Interestingly, the tower looks like an “A”.

Buka Puasa Story

Hari Raya Puasa celebrates the conclusion of the 30-days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the month of Ramadan. In Indonesia, is called “Buka Puasa” which means to “open the fast”. In Malaysia, is better known as “Berbuka Puasa”. This is an evening meal when Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset.

During the fasting month, our Singapore team went on a road trip to invite our Muslim colleagues from various offices – Johor Bahru, Pengerang, Terengganu, Kuala Lumpur, Batam and Jakarta – to break fast together. And to go with the tradition, we prepared sweet snacks as door gift at every dinner.

Our sweet gesture is a small way to express our deep appreciation to our Muslim staff. In Aver Asia, we treasure a diversified workforce.

As the holiday draws near, we will like all our Muslim colleagues a happy “Balik Kampung” as they return to their home town to celebrate with their families and to ask for forgiveness from elders.

(Singapore) Unveiling in 2017’s Great Singapore Sale (GSS), a new look for Aver Asia’s rental fleet of boom lifts and scissor-lifts. We are probably the first in SE Asia (or maybe the world) to introduce these handsome machines.

Rain or shine, every day is a good day in Aver Asia. It makes “good weather” sense for us to perform advertisement placement on our own fleet. The strong, yet candid, branding messages were designed to charm both our prospects and their customers.

Now, we will be getting more retail malls, hotels and business districts to think Aver Asia with our visually pleasing semi-wrapped boom-lifts and scissor-lifts.

Since 1 October 2014, Novena Church, a Roman Catholic Church in Singapore, has been closed for a major renovation. The church, established in 1950, is now going through one of the most dramatic redevelopments in its history. The new church can accommodate a congregation size of 1,500, compared to previously 800. Worshippers will get to experience towering pillars, high arches, and a grand dome rising high above the altar. One will feel like you are in a Gothic Cathedral somewhere in Europe.

Aver Asia is involved in this redevelopment project. Genie boom was first introduced into the construction project to lift up marble slabs to cover the walls and pillars of the church. Initially, the construction project team wanted to use the scaffolding that was already in place to lift up the slabs. Traditionally scaffold is used in the redevelopment of churches to safeguard the historic elements in the building. But with each piece weighing about 60 kg, it was too difficult and dangerous a task for their workers.

Eventually, they did away with all scaffolding and also saved significant costs. Dedication of the Novena Church is now made possible for 1 August 2017 (and it coincided with the feast day of St. Alphonsus Liguori).

MYANMAR, YANGON

(3 April) Aver Asia held a grand poolside event in Sedona Hotel, Myanmar, to officially launch Genie Z60-FE hybrid boom lift. We hosted 170 guests together with key appointment holders of Terex Corporation, local clients, potential clients, bankers, partners, and industry players.

The event also marks the first transaction signed within South East Asia.

Aver Asia has recently sold the new fuel electric hybrid boom to Myanmar National Airlines. What makes the hybrid boom great is the low noise and clean performance; which is specifically demanded by the country’s largest airlines. Our relentless services have certainly upgraded Myanmar National Airline’s access capability.
